About Find Your Konomi

Konomi (好み) is the Japanese word for personal taste. Choosing a picture for a wall, a tattoo or an artist to commission is mostly about how something looks and feels: its colours, how busy it is, its mood. Those things are hard to type into a search box, so we built a way to show them instead.

How the matching works

Each item in our catalog is described by what can be seen in it. For wall art that means medium, main colours, saturation, subject, composition, mood and art tradition. When you like or pass on a picture, we learn which of those you lean towards and rank items by how closely they match. We never show a percentage, because the match is relative to what we have, not a precise measure.

Where the items come from

Wall art comes from shops and marketplaces that offer affiliate programmes. Product names, images and prices come from those shops, and buying happens on their site. Artists and tattoo artists will only be listed when they sign up themselves; we do not copy anyone's portfolio.

How we are paid

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, the shop may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change the order of results.

Status

Wall art launches in November 2026, followed by artists for commissions and tattoo designs.
